MORINGA OLEIFERA SEEDS
Moringa seeds are large and circular-shaped, and grow inside the lengthy pods of the Moringa oleifera tree.
The pods can reach well over a foot in length and each pod can provide over a dozen large Moringa seeds.
Unlike the majority of Moringa seeds which are produced globally to PKM1 standard, we have invested time
to produce a higher quality seed called Momax 3.
These seeds create and retain nutrients for a longer period of time till after harvest.
ORGANIC COLD PRESSED MORINGA OLEIFERA SEED OIL
Moringa oil is produced by pressing the seeds of the Moringa tree.
The quickest and most efficient methods are hot pressing (heating up the seeds beforehand) or solvent
extraction (adding chemicals such as Hexane) which assist and speed up the process, in turn producing a
higher yield of oil in a shorter space of time. However, both methods result in an increase in acid and means
the oil requires refining in order for it to be of an edible standard. During the refining process, many of the
nutrients of the seed are lost.
Our Moringa Oil is produced by cold pressing. The seeds are pressed at room temperature which keeps acid
levels as low as possible. No refining is needed retaining all the natural nutrients of the seed and its original
taste and flavour. In addition to this, our cold pressing machines are fitted with special alloys which ensure
the mean temperature remains consistent throughout the process so that all seeds are pressed to the same
quality. It is **0% pure. We exercise special attention to avoid chemicals, solvents and heat in our
extraction process in order to offer the highest quality Moringa oil to our consumers.
EXTRA VIRGIN MORINGA OIL , FOOD GRADE
Food based healthy oil - with an impressive vitamin and mineral profile Moringa oil is also a wonderful health
oil to add to your diet. It has an odourless to mild nutty flavour and can be used as vegetable cooking oil or
as a dressing oil for salads and vegetables. Due to its high smoke point, it is also good for sauting and
deep frying.
Our food - grade oil is also produced using the cold pressing method to ensure superior quality and taste.
ORGANIC MORINGA LEAF POWDER
Our Moringa leaf powder is produced by shade drying the leaves (rather than sun drying) of the Moringa
Tree in order to preserve as much of the nutrients as possible.
According to Optima of Africa, Ltd., a group that has been working with Moringa, for every *5 grams (less
than an ounce) daily of Moringa leaf powder will give a child the following daily allowances: protein *2%, cal
cium **5%, magnesium *0%, potassium *1%, iron *1%, vitamin A **2%, vitamin C *2%. The same benefits
apply to adults and senior citizens, but only the percentages change. Obviously, Moringa is beneficial for
people of all ages.
It can be used to make tea, smoothies and blended drinks for extra nutrition. It can also be used in cooking
and seasoning for salads and soups.
